FACE VALUE PODCAST “HOODIE”

In July 2019 I began The Face Value Podcast with co-host Kurt King, a weekly 1 hour show focused on music, streetwear, skateboarding and current events. After 20 episodes we decided for the Face Value brand to be more than just a podcast. We decided to make our first project a hoodie, but not just any hoodie. To reflect the quality and craftsmanship we focus on when we discuss apparel on the show, it’s made of high-quality, heavy weight fleece. I designed the 2 embroideries hits. The first is a Face Value monogram, embroidered on the side of the hood to be shown when worn under a jacket. Secondly sewn into the left breast is the dice logo.. As Face Value’s parent brand is BadLuck, the dice is meant to represent luck. Upcoming projects include a long sleeve t-shirt set to release Fall/Winter 2020, as well as a bi-annual zine to showcase work from our podcast guests.
